As a wardrobe curator, it’s easy to start, advocate and finish with basics and classics. That does not, a well-rounded wardrobe make. I have to say I love the bell sleeve trend and the simplest way to pulling it off is mixing it with classics.
I paired my top with a simple mid-calf black slip-on dress. I’ve been going for oversize clothes as it’s winter and you need the extra room for layering.
There are slits on the side of the dress to avoid it from looking matronly. Remember, how to wear bell sleeves is all about proportions. What would look the most aesthetically pleasing to the eye?

My verdict: This is definitely a trend that can be taken straight out of a Street Style slideshow and into the office. It’s functional and with nice straight skinny jeans or a pencil skirt will add great style to your office wardrobe.
Don’t be afraid to get a little out of your comfort zone and give really interesting pieces a try; you never know, you may love them! My general rule of thumb is never spend and arm and a leg for a trendy piece. I’ll typically wait until they’re on sale or have a really great price. Splurge on classics, an extra seat in coach or even guac’ at Chipotle. Until next time.
